Student Outcomes

Greater Empathy

After our tech help sessions, our Youngsters understand and appreciate the Seniors in their community more.

Active Listening

To solve someone’s tech problem, Youngsters need to carefully listen to understand the Senior’s issue.

Teamwork Skills

Youngsters learn to tailor their communication skills by solving a variety of problems for each Senior.

Customer Service Skills

We measure and actively teach customer service skills to Youngsters, critical for future employment.

Personal Presentation

Youngsters learn how to present themselves well, including a clean shirt, being on time, smiling and making eye contract when speaking.

Learning Life Lessons

Youngsters learn valuable life lessons from Seniors who’ve collected plenty of life’s lessons over the years. Senior’s are asked to give advice to the Youngsters.

Meaningful Contribution

By helping Seniors, Youngsters learn that it feels really good to help others. Youngsters feel valued and appreciated.

Problem Solving

Youngsters have to develop their problem solving skills as the figure out solutions to Senior’s tech problems.

A case study: Renae in Year 12

“What I’m getting out of this is having better communication skills, and being able to explain thing properly and thoroughly to others.”

“I think more people should get involved in the program because it gives such a great lesson; to help out and give back in society”.
