Friendly community tech help sessions

Group sessions

Our group sessions are free to attend.

We offer group tech skills training, taught by friendly local Youngsters in public spaces such as libraries and shopping centres. During the sessions you can book a time to work with an individual Youngster to learn exactly what you need, such as using an app on your phone, doing video calls or connecting on social media.

Group sessions can also be used for tech support. Youngsters can help you fix problems on your phone or computer, or help you setup new technology at home such as a smart TV.

How it works

Step 1: Find your nearest free group session.

Step 2: Book a 30 minute timeslot during the session.

Step 3: Go to the location at your appointment time. You’ll be assigned a Youngster to work with.

Step 4: Your Youngster will teach you the skills you need, or fix the problem. If you like your Youngster and want to learn more you can book them for regular one on one sessions.

After your appointment time feel free to stay in the group session to connect with other seniors and youngsters in your community.
